Using DIV Stage One funding, Eco-Fuel enabled 2,500 farmers to use kilns, 460 women retailers improved sales by offering green charcoal, and over 10,000 households now use clean cooking fuel on a daily basis in Uganda.

Planned Goals and Milestones
DIV Stage 2 support will expand operations by (1) expanding own capacity and servicing more urban markets with high demand and (2) establishing a network of micro-franchisees where EFA will provide in-kind equopment and support services to access smaller, rural markets by franchising production and sales.
